Best of a bad bunch

Predictably, having promised myself I'd go back for the colour shots today, it has been grey and misty and distinctly uncolourful all day. Oh well. On the plus side, my children haven't been anywhere near as photogenic today, so glad I took the shot when I could yesterday.

Had a mad dash with Littler G round the shops while big brother was at pre-school this afternoon. Ordered our C*****mas meat from the local butcher and picked up a little stocking filler under her nose at the supermarket - probably the last year I'll be able to practise such deception! I know I promised not to mention the C word again, but I do enjoy the planning. It's still far too early (by at least a month) for decorations or any of that nonsense, but I'm enjoying plotting baking and menus and buying presents at a leisurely pace.

Looking back, there's been quite a change since I first blipped these trees.
