Day 3 Summer Palace and Dragon Boat ride.

So after our crazy day at the Great Wall we decided to grab a taxi over to The Summer Palace. Absolutely amazing Imperial Gardens in the middle of Beijing with a dragon boat ride thrown in over the huge lake surrounding the gardens. Lunch at a local restaurant we could see a lot of locals eating at. Tried scorpion, tastes like chicken skin. Couldn't stand the legs though. Then visited the Lama temple and joined in with the locals praying to the Buddhas with incense and offerings. I find Buddhism fascinating. Early night for us ready for our flight to Huangshan.
