Lac de Montriond

Got up and out relatively early for a stroll around the nearby lake on my own.

Really is a beautiful place to be; so tranquil.

I had to laugh and the fisherman's wife who was sat with a big slab of cured pork and an already open bottle of red.... at 9am.
Perhaps she was just letting it breath,

The lake is a lot lower than it was when we were out 2 years ago, but I suspect the downpours we had whilst we were out there will have started to help top it back up again.
