Multiplication

It's no wonder that these meadowhawk dragonflies are everywhere around here.  I can hardly turn around without running into one.  In fact, in the last few days, I've had mating meadowhawk partners land on me numerous times!  I guess I should be prepared for larger numbers in the future.  

Daily, I have tried to photograph a pair such as this... but it has proven to be difficult to get both faces in focus... until today.  So, even though this pair landed on the fence (instead of a lovely flower) they had to be today's blip.
