Blue Speculum

My Silver Welsh Harlequin ducklings are showing their true colors. The speculum on their wings is a gorgeous blue/purple, though can also be green. The other color variation, gold, has more of a bronze tone to it and the ducks are more warm colored all around (hence gold). I much prefer the silvers, though apparently the golds were the original variance (though oddly not recognized in the US ...). They sure are looking pretty!
