Poultry Run: Before and After

While the chickens and ducks mostly keep the grass down in their run (we haven't had to mow it since we kept it at a more manageable size), they avoid all kinds of weeds that they just don't find appetizing. I left the various flowers growing, but took out everything else. I thought it looked nicer and the birds were ecstatic at all the bugs they could get at where I had pulled up weeds!
