What’s in a name

Kettwig (where I live) is getting a traffic island* to help make a nasty junction less dangerous**. It’s taking most of the year to ‚build‘ but will soon be ready and the local paper is asking for suggestions for a name...I suggested ‚Mallorca‘, Little miss bossy ‚Ballermann‘ and Mr K ‚the magic roundabout‘.

* This is big news, because Germans tend to prefer traffic lights & traffic islands are few and far between.
** I guess in the long run this will be successful, although in the short term I can imagine there will be chaos
