Magneto-Electric Machine - Electric shock anyone? Just hold the pair of brass cylinders with the wires attached, one in each hand, whilst I wind the handle...
Something that was found many years ago, whilst clearing our grandparents' house, and one of my earliest electrical repairs. Well, sort of. Was still at school back then. The drive band had long since perished, and I temporarily replaced it with a tightly knotted piece of string. About 45 years later, and that string is still there, and the whole thing still works. A good repair... that temporary one.
Turning the handle slowly and the victim patient will feel a tingling in each hand. As you speed up the rotations, that tingling strengthens, and starts affecting muscles in the arms close to the hands. Faster still and the sensation moves further up the arms. Probably not advisable for anyone with a heart condition.
No takers?
