Purple flower

I’m not sure what this flower is called. It reminds me of a thistle from Scotland, one of my favourite places to go. This was taken with my camera practicing close ups. Last night I found myself joining Flickr, so that’s now, blip, Facebook, Instagram and Flickr. I feel that’s plenty of social media to be getting on with :-)
