In the lock

We had a great day out for our"educational" WI trip. Kicked off with coffee at a country hotel followed by a tour of the Penderyn whiskey distillery ( including a couple of tastes of whiskey or gin) After that we moved on to Brecon and my friend and I walked up to the Cathedral to have lunch in the excellent cafe there. In the afternoon we had a longboat ride on the canal with a cream scone and coffee included. My blip shows the boat going through a lock before arriving at the aqueduct over the river Usk. To compensate for all the calories I chose to walk the two miles back along the tow path to Brecon. Luckily it was dry all day and we all had a happy day out.
