Covent Garden.....

One of my favourite places and today was as ever....lots of people to watch and things to enjoy.

This entertainer and his young helper, entertained us and we laughed and enjoyed his act. The girl was wonderful; confident and so happy, going along so well with his teasing and humour. 

We began our day taking a bus from Victoria to Piccadilly, sitting in the front seat upstairs. Better than the tube and lots to see! We went into the MG showroom, had a freddo capuccino from an amazing coffee shop and popped into the courtyard of the Royal Academy, walking onto Leicester Square and onto Covent Garden from there. We shared a small lunch while listening to a favourite string quartet, walked round the Jubilee Market Hall then had a cup of tea before heading for Charing Cross station and home. 

A very happy day in great company and very comfortable temperatures!
