Iron Girl #3 - Threepete

3rd time is the charm! Had an exciting, fun & successful day. My friends were nervous, I was not as I can only do my best, no point in stressing over it. In the end I was 42 seconds slower than last year, which isn't too bad being a year older, in an older category and with a bad knee. Overall I did very well, and there were over 900 competitors. Weather was just slightly cooler than the past 2 times. We checked In to our usual beautiful Grimsby B&B and recovered around the pool. My sweetie and I snuck off alone for a fabulous Italian dinner to top off this spectacular day. So proud of myself for sticking with the training to the best of my ability- it paid off!
