No Signal

A few weeks ago the engineer at the Authorized Apple Shop in Huddersfield suggested that it would be a good idea to renew the battery of my18 month old iPhone [under a heavily discounted Apple scheme] as there is a known issue with battery performance.

So today I took in a perfectly good iPhone 6s and it's now wrecked. It overheats when switched on and I can't make calls or use the mobile internet because it won't hold the signal. 

My old iPhone 5 is now on charge and I'll be heading back to the shop in the morning.
