Speed . . . .

Some members of the Barnstaple Camera Club went to the Speedway tonight. 
We were shown around the circuit, were given a tour of the pits, the rules were explained etc before enjoying a light supper in the club house - then the racing began!  The bikes raced around the track spewing dust and dirt up onto the terraces as they cornered - we had to turn round as soon as we had snapped to prevent the small stones peppering our cameras/faces etc!
Somerset Rebels vs Belle Vue from Manchester.  
Sadly the Rebels were beaten into second place (42-48) but it was an entertaining evening and good company as usual.
