Forever Friends

Craig and Regina were our friends in our 20s and 30s.  They were our neighbors and became our co-workers, our family, we shared families in fact.  When we moved to New Hampshire in 1990 they moved to Pennsylvania.  They adopted 2 little girls from China and we were raising our own children.  Life got in the way and we hadn't seen them in 9 years.  This week they came to visit for a couple of days and it was like we last saw them yesterday.  We've all had our successes and our losses, our careers and our heartaches but underneath it all, they will always be "forever friends".  We won't let it go that long again.
