Dragon Hall

Dragon Hall, in King Street, Norwich, was a trading hall built in 1430 by Robert Toppes, a wealthy merchant and is now open to the public. This is the only trading hall built by a single person, rather than an organisation, to have survived in England.

This was a working building, not the family home. It gets it's name from a dragon carved into the roof beams inside.

I was just passing on a cross-city cycle trip to pick up some Brooch Clips for Ruth. She has been making Pudsey badges for Children in Need ... one of her badges was worn by the presenter on Blue Peter this afternoon!

PS Blue Peter is repeated on Friday.
