Victoria plums ripening

Back home and the season moves on. We checked the fruit growing on our allotment. The James Grieve apples were ripe so we have picked them and have taken them to a local farm where they will be pressed to make apple juice, the juice will be pasteurised so it keeps for a year.

The plums look ripe but are still firm so we must be patient.
