Home run

Slow start with coffee and croissant at Buuni’s then packed up for another hot day and headed off on the bus to the Bronx. We arrived in good time at the Yankees stadium and settled in to our seats...good ones and luckily in a shaded area as it was sweltering!
The stadium laid out much like the Dons one in MK although far more food and drink concessions!
Not a clue how the game worked and very few points scored...none of which I saw as at that stage I was on a hunt for an archetypal massive hot dog with everything on it and beer. Delicious but ruinous I’m sure!
We cheered when everyone else did and chatted to a few people nearby, but mainly people watched and wondered about what was going on on the pitch...highly amusing,
Left just before the end to get a train downtown to have a pedicure. Lovely- we so needed it after all the walking! Massive train confusions/problems getting home as some were cancelled, we got on the D not the A and ended up in Bronx again and had to busk our way back on buses then walk for ages. Arrived home whacked out to L’s for chicken and salad dinner and plan tomorrow

For some reason yesterday’s entry ended up on today’s date so have had to shift it. Apologies for not commenting on people much at the moment....only have time to post and run at the moment!
