Shoeboxes

Speaking of charity, as we wade into Children in Need our Children get the annual charity shoeboxes ready. The idea is simple, you get an empty shoebox, decide what sex and age of child you are going to give it to then buy a selection of useful things (from a list) to put in it. This is then wrapped up and sent off to Children who will probably appreciate it far more than anything we will buy own Children this year.

Speaking of Children in Need, I was astounded at the generosity of the folks who took part in the Chris Evans auctions this morning. I'm sure they can afford it but it is still pretty humbling.
