Prickly

Eryngium bourgatii loses it's wonderful blue colouring as the flowering stems age but it's still a striking plant which will catch the eye for months to come.  I'll be watching for seed to collect soon.

Feeling a bit prickly myself today.  Still tired after not sleeping well in the hot weather.  More crocus sorting, shopping, cooking and washing up have filled the day.   Oh - and it rained, rather autumnal, for a while today  but there's life in the summer yet if the forecast is correct.
