Fulmar

One of us it out of her comfort zone and I don’t think it’s the fulmar.

The extra photo is taken above Dún Chaoin harbour. We got the boat from here to the Blasket Islands on Monday, but I went back today to photograph the fulmars and the harbour. It is a long steep walk down to the boat and it seems an even steeper walk back up. The Blasket Island dead used to be brought back to the mainland and the man in the blue shirt is standing where, I am told, they used to rest the coffin on the way up.

The bit where I was standing today is above everything and it was a bit scary.
