Candlelighter’s quiz

I work with a wonderful bunch of people who supported me unconditionally whilst I was training and fundraising for my trek. Sadly Mitch’s (one of the owners) youngest daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia at 18months old, and now aged 3 is still having treatment but progressing well. Candlelighters are an amazing charity who have helped support him and his family through some very tough times, so tonight we attended a fundraising quiz with all profits going to Candlelighters.

Many local companies donated prizes for the raffle, and many people have been incredibly generous with their time and goods and services, including free hire of the venue which included this wonderful disco ball.

Had a great evening with friends, and hopefully a lot of money will have been made for Candlelighters.

There are a lot of lovely, kind, generous folk out there, we just don’t hear about them often enough.

Just heard that £1,222 was raised.... fabulous
