Usual Thursday

We did our usual Thursday routine. It’s a snack when we get home, followed by a stroller walk down to the beach, over to the playground to play, then on home for dinner. I can’t believe how long Nug Bug’s hair is?!? Wow. She refuses to get it cut and that’s just fine by me.
After dinner we put on our favorite kids yoga YouTube channel. Bubsy is super into it tonight, Nug Bug, not so much. She was laying on the couch and I said she should get up and do yoga. Her response, “I have choices Mamma, and my choice right now is to not do yoga. I’m watching.” That kid needs no assistance when it comes to speaking her truth. I feel like part of my job as a parent is to guide that instinct she has, but never shut it down or stand in its way.
