Princes Street Gardens

Another busy day. We started off in Charlotte Square at a recording of Open Book, a Radio 4 programme. Then lunch in Rose Street. Then a Fringe play called The Bench. It was very good with the added excitement of one of the actors falling off the stage. He was a stalwart and carrying on, but it must have hurt. Then we were profligate at the arts and crafts market before returning to the book festival for 3 events. Roy Hattersley, Alexander McCall Smith and Val McDermid. Friend K joined us at the last event. And we met my cousin P, wife and dogs after the last event An excellent day.
