Baking For Bevis

A while ago, my friend Bevis had a birthday and happened to inform me that he baked his own birthday cake. I could not allow this and vowed that I would make him a cake the next time I saw him; et voila! Although it's technically a teabread not a cake, but who can argue with dark chocolatey goodness*?!


*It might not actually be goodness; I've never made it before so I'm taking a bit of a risk!
