Successful surprise....

Another long day in the studio.....but kiln #4 is on!!! And i think i'm actually ahead of my plotted schedule! Amazing really....might mean that i can indeed take a couple of days off over the weekend!

This is a close up on one of the large oval platters....i'm so chuffed....i LOVE IT!!! There is so much going on with these layered glazes, and i can only try and repeat the idea....and each time the glaze patterns are different, it's very exciting!

There are 4 glaze test pieces in the kiln right now.....decided i needed to pull back a bit and try out the new combos on smaller bowls....rather than the bigger ones....not such a huge loss if something goes wrong!

Pretty tired, but happy! Pesto Pasta with Feta for dinner!!!
