Community Blip Challenge: We love our animals!
It’s been a while since our latest community challenge so I figure we’d ease back into this with an approachable topic: animals – to include both domesticated and wild animals.
BUT, this being a challenge, I’d like to add a little twist, which I shamelessly borrowed from National Geographic’s YourShot competitions: show us a moment when you experienced a connection with an animal.
As NatGeo says, as pet owners, we know we love our animals; but how do you show that connection to us, viewers of your image, beyond a pretty portrait of an animal? For inspiration, you may want to look at the story that NatGeo published from the submissions of the participants in their competition.
Here are the details of the community challenge:
- Run time: three weeks (from Aug 19 through Sept 8). No submissions outside these dates will be considered.
- Tags (mandatory): CBAnimals (for Community Blip Animals); country name. Separate your tags with a comma (so they don’t get concatenated). Entries missing these two tags will not be considered.
- Submissions: a maximum of two per blipper.
So grab your cameras and your pets and stay a safe distance away from wildlife! Ready, set, go!
