I took this in the basement of an Eeinburgh University Research institute which is part of the massively impressive Edinburgh’ Royal Infirmary campus at Little France ..

I had been talking Brexit with British Heart Foundation research teams and afterwards got to see some of their work. Part of that is looking at the possibility of regeneration of heart muscle after a heart attack.

Humans can’t do that. Zebra Fish can. Which is why there are so many in tanks in an Edinburgh basement and so much interest in unlocking their secret.
