Ready for the decorator

Tomorrow we have the decorator coming to paint the spare bedroom, and in preparation for this we have moved most of the furniture out of the room.

Our house is quite small and normally we have a load of stuff in this room, so finding somewhere else for it all to go has been quite a challenge. Fortunately, the decorator has agreed that the bed and the filing cabinet can stay put. He has done a lot of work for us before so we know he will do a good job. The litter tray and Ellie the cat will have to go elsewhere come the morning.

We liked this green and purple colour scheme when we had it done a few years ago, but we are fed up with it now and will be glad to see a more understated white scheme take its place.
