Manche to the Med day 13

Day 13 Lodève to Vias Plage. We made it to the Med! 652 miles in 13 days :) Today was just 46 easy downhill miles through vineyards and olive groves, pretty villages and a hot southern landscape. Stopping for coffee in little villages and lunch in a church yard in a hilltop village, so not all down hill.  We cycled along lots of tree lined roads, so pretty.

Then we arrived at Vias Plage - it's like Skegness with warm sun! Madly busy and full of tacky tourist attractions. I thought the Med would ve more sophisticated.  We cycled west away from fun fairs until we found some quieter campsites. Now camped near the beach with a pool and a bar. A beer or 2 to celebrate tonight. Just 27 miles tomorrow to pick up our bus home from Narbonne.

Not quite the UK end to end but still chuffed that we did it. My idea and Mr PB 's excellent organising and route planning xxx. Feel a but emotional typing this. Ahhh but what next?
