Sanity break...

A full on day of all those jobs that need doing before you go away, plus helping my parents with the reams of paperwork needed for an insurance claim for the cancellation of their holiday (right now they should be Odessa!). In between all that, I popped into the garden for a 5 mins sanity break, and to grab a flower blip. Thought I’d show you the Carnations, the first time we’ve grown them. In the end I went with this photo, complete with photobombing buzzy beast, as I was amazed to see how transparent those wings are, you can even see the veins, something I’ve never noticed before...

(Thank you so much for all your kind hearts and stars for yesterday’s sunset. No hokery pokery was involved, those were the natural colours, “straight off the camera”, as are 99% of my photos. Sorry I don’t have the time to thank you individually, things are still crazy around here, still a lot to do before I call it a day but I shall try and sprinkle stars before the day is out...)
