Another long day of walking but only half of what we managed yesterday.

Started off having a nice sit down on the roof terrace playing card games, off to the subway to head down to Brooklyn. Had a nice ice cream and amazing pizza from Juliana’s before walking across the Brooklyn Bridge back to Manhattan. It had amazing views and was definitely worth the trip!

From Brooklyn we walked back to the river to take the Staten Island Ferry - mainly to see the Statue of Liberty (despite having spent all day with Lady Liberty herself aka dad in his mint tshirt).

Another subway trip to Greenwich Village with the sole purpose of finding the building in the picture. Anyone guessed it yet? THE FRIENDS APARTMENT BLOCK! I had a great time being mesmerised by it. After having a photo shoot there we headed back to the fountain that appears in the Friends title sequence to splash around for a bit before getting a cab back to the hotel.

Finished the day with a meal at Ellen’s Stardust Diner. A fabulous end to the day with great singing and really good food.

I’ve loved every second of being here in NYC and now can’t wait to start the next part of the trip!
