I noticed this evening following a Volvo that the led tail lights of modern cars blink on and off at a rate too fast to see but if you blink whilst looking at them, you can see multiple images of the light in the flare caused by - I don't know - maybe your eyelashes or the slit effect of nearly closed lids. Anyway I happened to coincidentally capture (because it was late and I hadn't taken any pictures today) the strobing in a shot of a passing car - which I saw on the camera screen only after noticing the 'blink effect'.
