STAYCATION DAY 12

Last hook up perfectly performed.
Shame about the narrow lane again....this time entirely The Rev’s choice!! The journey should have taken 4 hours. The first half of the journey was great but then traffic alerts sent us off the M25....via more narrow roads, traffic jams, wrong turns and road closures. This lead to tears and tantrums. The plan to do the final caravan clear up was shelved as we had bought last minute tickets to Kinky Boots.
The quickest caravan park, then home for an even quicker shower and change to catch the train. Arriving at the theatre with 3 mins to spare!!! Phew
I’ve seen the show before but I knew The Rev would love it and he did. A great feel good laughter show.
Due to the mad dash we missed dinner so a Burger meal on the train home just finished off our slumming it holiday.

Thankful for...a fabulous holiday and a safe if horrendously awful journey home.
