Walk along the canal

Our eldest daughter Jen was scheduled to fly in this morning from Salt Lake City at about 7.30, but unfortunately we got a message yesterday evening, to let us know that her first flight was delayed due to bad weather, and so would miss her connecting flight. They rerouted her via Paris, and instead she arrived about 1 pm. So in the morning, Roger did a few jobs for his Dad in the garden, while I did a few jobs in the house. Later in the afternoon we went for a walk at Anderton Flashes, including a short stretch along the Trent and Mersey Canal. In the evening we all went out to eat.
