Young Chipping Sparrow ...

... doubtlessly hatched this year.*  Captured close to our kitchen window in Tamworth,  early afternoon. A mostly cloudy day--rain which had previously been forecast fell only last night. In the morning we visited the Tamworth farmers market, a weekly event; it has seen better weather. We were invited for dinner by our cousins Beth and Jim, who live across the road. *My favorite chipping sparrow is this, from April 2010.
