Still Here!!!!

Nick and I walked to work today (more on that later) and look what I saw!!
I dragonfly!! I thought they were gone for winter. A pretty red one too :)

Why did Nick and I walk to work? I'd like to say because I have started my exercise routine in earnest OR I'm getting healthier OR It's good for me....nope. Nick's car broke down on the way here last night :( Just outside a little town called Elkton. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Through our insurance we were able to get him towed here to the house, about an hours drive, for $100. Going to have someone look at it tomorrow. Most are thinking it is his alternator. Pretty quick and fairly inexpensive fix so I do hope that is it.

Glenn is on is way home as I write. He was able to see his friends Mom and was happy he did. He said she is in good spirits. We will both go up and visit her next week when we are up in Newberg for Thanksgiving. Thank you to everyone who commented yesterday and for the kind sentiments.

Tomorrow, I probably won't be walking to work :)
I must say, if we had to walk, it was a most beautiful day for it!! Just lovely!!
