Cross Country

The Youngest had her cross country today and she did it! Woo hoo!!! Last year she came last, only finishing with the help of yours truly carrying her over the finish line. She'd collapsed in a heap down in the school gardens, and when I had got to her, she was clutching her side declaring that she was "dying from a stab". Stitch...first time.

Today however, she managed to run most of it, and didn't come last. I'm so proud of her. Look at the big smile.

In other news, both girls had their eyes checked today. The youngest has 20/20 vision. The Eldest is slightly long sighted, but not enough to require correction.
