Whip-crack-away!

We saw a stage production of Calamity Jane tonight. Possibly the best theatre I’ve seen in years. An ensemble cast of 8, doing everything from acting and singing to playing multiple instruments and changing the sets between acts. Despite the age of the material, they managed to get a few current jokes and references in, which only added to the brilliant production. They even had audience members on stage for the whole show - but I wasn’t brave enough to buy those tickets!!!

Do not fear, this is not what the production looked like (strictly no recording paraphernalia in the theatre please!) but was the cast doing a sing-song in the foyer for the audience as we left. Simply outstanding!
