Experiment

Dreich, but went for a run in the Estate - where there were some soggy "Rough Runners"  who probably wouldn't have got any wetter falling into this flooded obstacle. I tried to go fast - which isn't easy when you've scarcely run for four months - and couldn't keep it up, unsurprisingly, although I was also slowed considerably due to over-heating in the warm, humid conditions. There was one moment when I felt discomfort in my knee when jogging, which went away when I sped up, so maybe I'm onto something.

It was nice to chat with friedaquilter and her husband, and it gave me the chance to cool down.
