Pilot aboard!
We set sail from Liverpool around 18.30, with the pilot carefully negotiating the docks and the narrow lock system. It took nearly an hour to leave port, then the pilot left on his little launch the Kittiwake.
We managed to survey for an hour until the sun set, with a good view of the Anthony Gormley installation marching out into the waves.
Ships supper was a good chicken pie and our cabins are spacious if a little austere! See extra.
