Tynemouth markey

We parked in Whitley Bay at #2 daughter’s house to inspect the building work which is almost done. However they have gone over budget so they will be decorating it themselves. This will take at least a year they reckon! James was pottering while a Thomas was busy with his Lego. He is good now at following the instructions to build the vehicle.

We got the metro the 3 stops to Tynemouth.where we heard there was a picture framer in the market. I took along the print Anna made of the Uzbek women to remind us the great trip we shared last autumn. He is going to do it for £20. It was an interesting market with old bric a brac, DVDs, some books, clothes, stalls with junk food, but also some yummy food ones as well. Freshly made ricotta and lemon ravioli, olive oil and honey from a woman’s husband’s farm in Greece, and lots of different kinds of bread, to mention but a few.

Ella has discovered how to text using her mum’s phone so I had numerous messages with lots of emojis telling me about the long journey back from Westport. She says Nathaniel aged 4 will be going to school soon but he still can’t write his name. However he did sound out hat and bug so has started to learn to read.
