Jeri's Lilies

Today was a nice steady - paced day. We weren't up too early, and had a meander over to Tesco after breakfast. Jeri requested a vegetarian dish involving halloumi, beets, lentils and chick peas for tea tonight. 

I can't say I was too enthusiastic at the prospect of that but nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say. Nonetheless, I was glad Zeph had requested a Full English for brunch (his!)/lunch (mine!) so at least I wouldn't feel too hungry later...

Anyway, we went over, and I made the food, and it was actually delicious! I would have it again quite happily!

Jeri had these lovely flowers on her dining table - not sure if she treated herself to them or if they were a present! I can't have lilies in the house as the pollen is toxic for cats (and dogs!) but they are wonderful flamboyant flowers!
