Horse, Flies

After a morning swim, we went for a stroll on Street Hill this afternoon. This was one of two miniature horses in a field we passed through who were both beset with flies: at least this one's innovative headwear was keeping the flies away from its eyes; the other one didn't have one and its whole face, including its eyes, was covered with the pesky things. They both seemed to be accepting their lot stoically.

I took a photo of that one too, but thought it was too unpleasant to post here.
