Overdoing it? Possibly!
I have never eaten so many chips in my life. I think that this Air Fryer will be one of the few gadgets that does not end up shoved to the back of a cupboard. It is proving to be very useful and reheats Croissants brilliantly in just three minutes, giving better results than the oven.
Today we tried cutting back on the oil and used only half a tablespoon. The chips were still brown and crispy and the required decrease in oiliness on the surface was certainly achieved. However, they lacked flavour. This could be the reduction in oil or might be due to a different bag of potatoes.
Further experimentation required... and more chip eating.
I remain amazed at just how appetising they look!
