Broken
I am back-Blipping. It has been a busy week.
On Monday I managed to break on of the bakerlite drive slots on our flatbed printer roll module. No biggie. They are bakerlite for a reason. The mandrill that holds the rolls of media are not only very heavy but also made of machined steel. These little driver gears are made to break under load to save the more expensive parts of the machine..
The nice techie visiting from Canada fixed it the next morning. His accent was cool. Vancouver. Very understated.
