Story time with Great Grandma!

I find moments like these so precious! I feel so happy and blessed that Sophie and my Nan have such a lovely relationship. Always been super close to my Nan so I love it!!

Ever since I was a teenager I always hoped my grandparents would get to be great grandparents to my child :) They also have great grandson (my brothers 5 year old) but it's just something I always wanted myself!

Sadly my Grandad has dementia but before he had to go into full time care he still had a couple of months knowing he was Sophies great grandad which makes me smile.
He still sees her now (we went today in fact) but he isn't fully aware of who me or Sophie are anymore :( but at least she makes him smile, talk and play! She always holds his hand and pokes him in the nose too haha.

Life is so short and precious! You gotta enjoy and love the simple little moments ♡
