A day of contrasts

We had a late start today and in the late afternoon, went to a BBQ at a friend's house. It was her son and granddaughters birthdays as well as her sister (who wasn't there but we raised a glass anyway!) the photo is of all of us there!
We went home at 7 and found that one of our gite guests had been taken ill, so we spent the rest of the day in A&E, only getting home at 1.30am! Hopefully she'll be feeling better in the morning, but it was a bit worrying that the doctor didn't really do a proper examination before sending her home!
