Basildon Park

Max and I had a lovely afternoons on with Jojy and Chris my Aunt and Uncle at Basildon Park today, beautiful grounds and a fascinating house saved from demolition in the 1950s by Lady Iliffe who restored it and sourced old furniture and paintings etc to fill it.

The house has been used in Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice etc.

In the evening Erin came over and also Zeb’s friend Hattie and Lola who we haven’t seen for ages, we watched Tropic Thunder
and had dinner together.

Max’s brother Conal who is 25 proposed to his girlfriend Haylin and she said yes.
