24 hr 2CV race

We went with the parents of one of the drivers to watch the last four hours.  Not stock car racing, although after 24 hours hard driving the car might look a bit tatty (eg window fell out after a bump and held in with duct tape!).  Serious engineering and impressive team skills.  Engine change in 10 minutes.  Fascinating and great fun.  Cars going as fast as their little wheels can - apparently might not be too fast on straights but as good as any car on road tyres on cornering - certainly as good as the minis that had been allowed to race as part of the meeting.
